Why to Refer Patients for a Neuropsychological Evaluation
Consultation is designed to assist the referring physician, attorney or agency in offering comprehensive care by providing prompt and detailed evaluation reports. These reports present a profile of the cognitive and behavioral deficiencies demonstrated by each individual patient and serve as a basis for an equally individualized rehabilitative recommendation.
Those patients who need help in more than one area to overcome their physical, emotional, vocational or educational problems will be provided services or referred to the appropiate resources. Allied health care support services are available for the patient and the family. The type and extent of involvement depends upon the referral request.
Treatment is available to assist the referring physician, attorney or agency in implementing a workable and well defined treatment plan.
